Postcards
You Love.

Hello, my name is Danielle, and I live in the San Diego County of California, USA with my boyfriend of 15 years.

Some things I enjoy are watching birds in my backyard, car trips, trips of the mind, roller skating/inline skating, hiking, thrifting, going to concerts/raves, (latest concert was Alice Cooper - he still sounds so amazing), geocaching, trying to better myself (joined a community emergency response team) and more.

For cards, what I like most is for you to send what you want to share! And decorate how you prefer. If you like to write a lot, please do so! If you like to decorate, I love to see it! Envelope or not, all good on that front. Everything is a little slice of life that I get to see, and I love that.

That being said, I know that lists can be helpful, so here are some things I enjoy:
*Animals (big and small cats, dogs, birds, klipspringers/other small deer-like animals, bunnies, etc - they are all great)
*Art (especially surrealism, pop surrealism, art deco/art nouveau, graffiti/street art, gothic architecture, and more - so much good out there)
*Astrology (I’m a Cancer)
*Bright colors, glitter (favorite color is electric blue, but I love many)
*Cool stamps, stickers, washi
*Halloween themes/goth
*Landscapes/cool skies (with an extra soft spot for the desert and the beach - I’ve lived in both)
*Movies - Horror, trippy, b-movies (I’m a big Rifftrax/MST3K fan)
*Music
*Pin-up/erotic - nudity OK
*Retro and Vintage cards
*Road themes, whether about the drive itself or the roadside attractions along the way
*Tiki
*Space and sci-fi
*Strange, weird, trippy
*Stained glass, carnival rides, masks, amusement park rides, carnival/circus - visually striking items

If you are having trouble with what to write, some prompts I have liked are:
-What is the strangest thing you have ever seen or experienced?
-Tell me about your favorite pet/animal.
-Do you have a recurring dream?
-What is your favorite song?
-Where is your favorite place to relax?
-What music moves you?
-What do you do in your spare time?
